About SWARN

Southern Wisconsin Agricultural Resource Network (SWARN) was developed out of the need for a one-stop shop for people with common interests in agriculture. It can be challenging to make ag connections. There is only so much time someone can spend scouring newspaper ads, scavenging the internet, and making phone calls searching for something you need.

Our Mission

Who do I get to mow my CRP? Is there anyone that will do a controlled burn on my rural acreage? How do I start a bee colony? Where do I call and find someone to haul a load of demolition? Who shears sheep? Where can I purchase crop insurance? Who will plant a wild prairie for me? I need to sell some equipment and my farm, where can I advertise? I am interested in starting an organic truck garden; who can I call? I have goat soap products for sale, where can I show them to the public? These are questions we all have. SWARN is here to assist you to sell or locate ag services and products! Our goal is to make it as easy as possible to make that connection
